Coach Holland is a graduate of Jay High School in 1992, and became a teaching aid for the high school band, beginning band and color guard in 1993. In 1995 he started helping coach cheer as an assistant and continued to coach until 2004 when he became the head coach at Jay.  He then went to McDonald County from 2010-2015 as a tumbling coach and assistant and returned to Jay as the Head Coach in 2016.

In the 2018/2019 school year, he serves as the Head Varsity and Junior Cheer coach and hopes to continue to build the programs with the current enrollment of 45 students between both groups.  Coach Holland also works for Varsity Brands in the Spirit Shop division as an event manager and venue manager and owns Black Gold Cheer Sports where he coaches tumbling and cheer fundamentals.  

In twenty-three years of coaching Coach Holland has had 15 Regional appearances, 14 state appearances, 7 UCA Regional appearances, and 3 National Appearances resulting in 1 OSSAA  Regional Runner-up,4 MCCA Regional Champs, 4 MCCA State Runner-up, 5 UCA Regional Runner-up awards, 2 UCA Regional Champions and 3 UCA Nation High School Cheerleading Championship appearances, 1 World High School Cheer Runner up and 1 World High School Coed Partner Stunt World Champion.



Coach Samie Watson is the assistant cheer coach. She is currently teach Pre-Algebra and Algebra at Jay Middle School and have for five years. She has coached and taught for ten years. Coach Watson graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in 2004 with an Associates of Science in Pre-Engineering. She continued her education by graduating from Northeastern State University in 2008 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education majoring in Health and Physical Education and minoring in Mathematics. Coach Watson is currently working on her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Missouri Southern State University. She is happily married to her husband, Brett Watson. Together they have two beautiful children, Danika and Mikah.
